Shopping Event in Downtown Buckhannon Scheduled for October 16th, 2009
BUCKHANNON, WV – The Buckhannon Upshur Retail Merchants Association ( BURMA) held the first Merchants Fall Evening Shopping Event in November 2008 in downtown Buckhannon. The event was well received by the public and merchants. Because of the great response, BURMA decided to keep it as a regular event on their schedule.
BURMA would like to invite everyone to join us in downtown Buckhannon on Friday, October 16 th, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and enjoy an evening of shopping and festive sidewalk music.
Over twelve businesses will be participating during the extended hours event including: Anderegg Jewelers, Books, Books, Books, Merle Norman Cosmetics, Sherry Lynn’s Troll Beads, Sherry’s Hairport, Shops at 46 Main, Technology Warehouse, The Book Store, The Stitching House, Upshur Artist Association, Whimsical Treasures, and the WV Strawberry Festival Gift Shop. So, you can plan ahead and complete your holiday shopping early!
